Hindustan Times says that “an inspirational romance”.
Good Reads suggests, “Journey of Two Hearts is a true story about a young couple who believes life does not have any “replay” or “rewind” button”. This book has been a ‘national bestseller’ in the year 2012.
This is an amazing story by Anuj Tiwari. This book is kind of an autobiography. He had presented this book to Pakhi after they got married, to reminisce all the lovely moments they shared together once.
This novel starts when Anuj's friend Maddy teasing Pakhi via his mobile number. Anuj feels very guilty for humiliating her. He gets to know that it is a girl named Pakhi that his friend was teasing. He started losing himself for her as we have seen in the most traditional Bollywood movies. They loved and cared for each other. The author had described the scene very beautifully in the book:“Everything changed within few days and I smiled looking at mirror, I AM IN LOVE. FRIENDSHIP BROKE...LOVE INVOKE.”This novel is very much close to my heart. I should probably claim that my all time favorite novel. This is the first book I’ve ever read multiple times without skipping pages or passing of several paragraphs. To add more, this is again close to my heart because this novel is the first I have read in just one sitting. Thus this book has many ‘first's’ in my life. A beautiful story, apart from romance, the narration draws the reader to the proximity where one cannot find which is true and which is not. It draws a shadow line between the narration and the factual details. As Aristotle points out, this piece of art gave me a purgatory feeling; I ended up having felt that my burden was lessened. So, I would recommend everyone to read this novel. However, the author had mainly aimed this book to satiate the appetite of young readers.Ratings:
